Had my timing belt changed a few days ago at the dealership and immediately after getting home I noticed a new sound that wasn't there before.

I took my car back to the dealer today and they said they should have the noise fixed, but after a few minutes of driving I noticed the sound didn't go away at all. Today's experience is making me lose confidence on whether they'll be able to fix anything at all, but the service is under warranty so I have that incentive to take it back there again.

Anyways, before I go back again I'm curious if anyone might know what could possibly be making this sound? Video is too big to upload here so here's the reddit post I made, curious if any of your suggestions might match up with the comments there too.

Well, that's unique.

The frequency of occurrence doesn't seem to line up rate of rotation of visible items on the serpentine belt, but something being turned by it would be the first and easiest thing to explore.

It's as simple of removing that belt and running the engine to see whether the noise ceases, changes or is unaffected.
