I just took delivery on 2/5/14 of my 2014 Ford fiST, in performance blue with recaros. This will be my daily driver. I'm concentrating on getting the car in pristine shape. I detailed the exterior of my ST last weekend. There were the usual dealer applied, no charge paint scratches on the surface, so I removed all of the scratches and sealed the paint. A complete exterior detail, including taping off the bits one does not want to get compound on, clay baring, polishing, and sealing takes several hours. I use lakeside foam pads with Blackfire products, to achieve that wet look. Just got the windows tinted, and lloyd mats installed. Last exterior mod will be a clear bra. I put a clear bra on my 2011 Mustang, and that has really protected the front end from rock chips. I have an escort radar detector that I need to mount on my rear view mirror, and hide the cord.

I'm debating intake and exhaust mods. I think I'll wait on those, until more choices are available. I love the speed and handling out of the box. The gas mileage is poor, but the engine has only seen 500 miles, so I expect it to improve. Its still better than the Mustang. We own several Ford vehicles, and we love them all.

Thanks for your welcome. This color was very difficult for me to find. Lots of black, white, orange and even green, but only 2 Perf blue ST in all of California. I got a good deal from the dealer, and am very pleased with this small car.

Congrats and welcome. The mpg will get better, I'm averaging 25mpg 100% city driving right now.

Have the same car, waiting for it to clear customs. What compound did you use to polish? Was it difficult to put the clear bra on the mustang? I'm planning on doing this to my fiST as well.

Can you tell us more about the 3M clear bra? Is it a do it yourself or installed via window tint guys? What area does it cover? How much money. I am thinking this needs to be done or face a lot of rock chips which are very noticeable with TBlack.....

You'll need to have it professionally installed, I have more details here http://www.fiestastforum.com/forum/threads/346-Xpel-paint-protection-film-installed-on-the-Fiesta-ST

It can be DIY there are Instructions on YouTube. I spent about 30 dollars on a test strip, I'm going to try it out on the hood and if its too hard I will take it to get professionally done.
