How is the FiST holding up over time?

...to a coolant bypass solenoid failing and I had to swap it out in the Lone Pine Napa parking lot in the heat. Fun time. I also have an annoying door seal leak and a hatch leak, but they're pretty minor. I do have the center blend actuator slipping and the parts to fix it, but idk how urgent...

    Weighed fiesta today (funny story)

I must be well under 2600 lbs. right now, since my car is almost gutted from the front seats back (rear door cards, and plastic side shelf and hatch trim is all that is back there currently), with 16x8 Dekagrams, and with the spare and jack removed (while I try to hunt down the dreaded spare...

PSA My Magnetic was Traded in Lithia VW in Des Moines

Also the oiler cooler brick thing at the filter housing seemed like it was starting to slightly leak this winter. Mild but worth noting. I changed oil late March. I ran an ST200 box and drop in filter in the winter and a RamAir intake in the summer most of the time I had it. Mountune...

    Roof Leak in Rear

I had a similar leak. The hatch itself was not quite tight enough when latched. I moved the latchpoint inward a few mm (takes a torqx bit) and the leaking has stopped.

    Roof Leak in Rear

@bullitt1516 - I have the same question as @dhminer. Does it have to be driven in order for the water to find its way in? If the answer is yes, put the vehicle up on ramps and spray underneath from front to back. Have the front end much higher than the rear. Also hit the wheel wells. If the...

    Roof Leak in Rear

Hey friends. Seems this topic has been beat to death, but I’m still chasing this water leak. A year later. I completely gutted the entire car searching for it, pulled the entire interior out minus the dash. Had the back hatch apart, rear cover off, tail lights out. I Seam-sealed every clip...

Now onto my second Fiesta ST! Figured out some problems already.

Starting with 3. My wife is also short, and her solution is to slide the seat all the way back every time she gets out of the car. For me at 6' I can leave the seat where I like it for driving. The hatch leak (or sunroof leak) issues have been well documented on the forum, as you've found.
