    Roof Leak in Rear

I had a similar leak. The hatch itself was not quite tight enough when latched. I moved the latchpoint inward a few mm (takes a torqx bit) and the leaking has stopped.

    Roof Leak in Rear

@bullitt1516 - I have the same question as @dhminer. Does it have to be driven in order for the water to find its way in? If the answer is yes, put the vehicle up on ramps and spray underneath from front to back. Have the front end much higher than the rear. Also hit the wheel wells. If the...

    Roof Leak in Rear

Hey friends. Seems this topic has been beat to death, but I’m still chasing this water leak. A year later. I completely gutted the entire car searching for it, pulled the entire interior out minus the dash. Had the back hatch apart, rear cover off, tail lights out. I Seam-sealed every clip...

Now onto my second Fiesta ST! Figured out some problems already.

Starting with 3. My wife is also short, and her solution is to slide the seat all the way back every time she gets out of the car. For me at 6' I can leave the seat where I like it for driving. The hatch leak (or sunroof leak) issues have been well documented on the forum, as you've found.

    New to me 2015

Update on my FIST. So far I have replaced the the timing belt, water pump, and struts. I fixed the common hatch water leak and replaced the tires with some cheap high performance tires for my commute. I put in a DFB diverter, K&N filter, air box mod, whoosh V3 intercooler, spark plugs and Cobb...

    Frontlines fiesta build

Found out I have the common rear hatch leak problem. Took the back of the liner apart and checked the sunroof drains. Thankfully They were clear. Looks like water was coming in from behind the tail lights. It’s crazy ford covered up holes that water could get in with just tape! I put new duct...

    Raistron's Build thread

So it appears that I've developed a leak in the rear hatch, or that it was always there, but while the car was in CA, where rain is a myth it wasn't an issue. Had about 6 inches deep standing water where the spare sits. Looked into the Water Intrussion Issue thread and Rear roof leak thread...

    Subwoofer setup questions

Man that’s going to be awesome haha. I wouldn’t mount it to the underside of the false floor. Maybe build a small platform you can paint and insulate. Screw it down with some L brackets and make sure it’s leak proof. Should be good to go then
