It's difficult to impossible to argue against the performance (and yes quality as well) of either of these generation CTRs. I thought that the FK8 was fugly when it was first released, but this new gen FL5 has beaten that one out as even fuglier yet in that aspect, as far as I am concerned...

I would ask about any reception differences, but that destroyed factory one was losing some signal capture capabilities due to aging, corrosion, and cracking, so not a valid comparison. But, can you pull in any weaker/distant stations with the Stubby, or do you not listen to the radio at all...

Do you use/route the factory belt right across the top of the side bolster?

As in Silvers Neomax? From what you've heard, how is their quality/longevity as compared to the Meisters, or the Fortune Auto 500/510?

Yes, my aftermarket wheels are all 40 ET (except for the TD Pro Race 1.2s which are 42ET), and I wish that they were closer to the factory offset, or at least in the 44-46 ET range, despite all being 8" wide. I don't even like the aesthetics of 'hella poke' (even before considering just how...
