Psa do not use motul in your fiesta st

Running the crazy light wood nardi on my miata, you can literally feel everything that happens during a shift. It's not fun when the trans is cold, but once it's warm you can't beat it.

Psa do not use motul in your fiesta st

Just a heads up, a heavy shift knob doesn't actually improve shifting, it just masks what you can feel through your hand, and essentially puts more force behind every movement of the shifter. Good for feel, bad for everything else.

    Hood Vents?

Best spot for functional vents is going to be on the front half of the hood right in the center. Low pressure so air can escape, allowing more air to go through the radiator/IC and then out of the vent. A bonus of that area is that there isn't much going on underneath. But I will say those...

    Hood Vents?

Covering a vent when it rains is a bit like holding an umbrella in the rain but not wearing shoes. There isn't even an undertray on a fiesta, every part of the engine bay gets sprayed with water on the highway, don't worry about a vent adding a little more from the top. Just don't put a...

Boost leaking from Boomba BOV adapter

FWIW this "issue" is just a function of BPV's being electronically controlled vs the vacuum/boost passive models of old. The computer has control over everything, and it is deciding to keep the valve open between shifts and after shifts on light throttle. Nothing is broken or needs to be fixed.

Price on the adapters? Maybe I'm missing it....

    NEW TIRE: Federal 595RS-PRO

Looks like a more traditional tread pattern vs the RS-RR's. Which will hopefully help with the insane road noise and lack of wet performance. Looking forward to trying them, likely on my miata though.

    DIY oil cooler project feedback

Thermostat temp doesn't matter that much if you're overheating (~245+ I imagine). A 160 degree or 210 degree or 190 degree will all be wide open long before that point. Also, thermostat doesn't do anything for oil temps. On the street the coolant does most of your cooling, on the track your...

Track Toy -- Keep Fiesta ST or Move to Mustang?

wait, do you actually think I'm joking? Did you not watch the video of someone getting up on 2 wheels and having to countersteer on flat ground with re71rs? More grip = higher rollover risk. This is a real issue, you can ignore it but don't tell others it is a joke.
