Steering wheel noise

Hello everyone,

I noticed it after washing my car. Now at very low speeds when I turn the wheel either way I hear a very faint grinding/rubbing/metallicish/clicking sound. It's really weird to explain, but it seems to be coming from the steering column. I am outside of my warranty. Any info would be helpful. There was a thread a while ago about some bolts on the steering assembly being loose. Not sure it's the same problem though.
