They remind me of super advans. If you got the $$ to blow, do it. May look good blacked out
Advan SA3Rs are the wheels i really want. Too bad most used sets come in 5x114. New ones in 4x108 would be horrendously expensive.

Yeah and I want some Te37’s lol

Why not re drill your hubs? I understand the issues that lie there.. I’m sure they can be found in the 4/100 or 4x114.3, so you could essentially drill your hubs and rotors to fit.

The hubs cant handle 4x114. Most of the 17s come in 4x114/5x114. Maybe 5x100?

4x100 is doable, but most wheels in 4x100 are 15s/16s. Not worth it to me.

There’s not enough hub to have them filled and re drilled? I haven’t been to the bare hub yet, so I seriously don’t know. Man my gears were turning on some 5zigen FN01-RC 17x9 +20

My aftermarket will be Rota Grid in white 17x8 +40 on 235/40’s and probably stock suspension for a bit. Income tax?!

Antares were/are junk. Super Advans on the other hand, are Japanese classics.

Both thr Super Advans and the TE37’s can be had in 4x100 though more likely in 15 inch versions than 16’s.

One of the reasons I am redrilling my hubs for 4x100 is the choice of new lightweiht wheels and awesome old school wheels becomes infinite.

It seems like you go back about 3 years and people where way into doing this.... but a lot of the current gen of owners seems to be content with 17’s with limited tire choices due to wheel well clearance and or 16’s. While some are nice we are stuck with horrible stock sunken or 5mm different offsets.

At least if I get the redrill jig and go 4x100 I can get get Konig Dekagrams in a nice +35 offset that will fill my well nicely and give me a hot hot concave face!

Vs the +40 non Concave face they stuck ST’s with out of fear of brake clearances.

Shit if they had dropped the offset it would have given more clearance for the brakes but again wanting to play it safe sticking closer to stock offset we got screwed. I know some like flat face but some of us want concave light weight wheels dammit. Lol

DPro- a japanese classics connoisseur!

Some mid-30s offset wheels with a slight dish always looked proper to me. RWD cars always had better looking wheels and set-ups.

Shit with RWD cars we started dipping into the 20’s and sometimes even lower. Hell I had +22 18x9 E46 M3 wheels on my old Black E36 M3. Even got them to fit with a roll and pull. Hankooks would not even rub 225/40
Feddys rubbed a little. Lol

On 240sx’s it started out eveyone was running 35 offset factory was +42 and then around 2002-2003 everybody just went f this I want to fill my wheel wells no more sunken battle ship shit.
It was literally down the offset ladder lol.

I had some 17x8 Borbet Type T's in 13ET on my E46 sedan.

I had to run 225/45s and they rubbed on bumps.
