Hello dear ST owners and fans!
After reading for a few weeks around this forum, I realized there was a bitter lack of Euro-spec Fiestas on these pages, so I decided to register myself to strengthen the European ST troops! [biggrin]

My name is Jean-Louis, I'm 25 years old, born in raised in the tiny Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, right in the middle of Europe.
I've only been to the US two times, a family vacation to Miami in 2001 and two months of flight training in Phoenix in 2013, but I can't wait to cross the pond again!

Now, let's talk cars! Since even before I got my license, I've owned old-ish BMW 5 Series. I started with a 1995 E34 525i touring and basically went through every engine the E34 has to offer, from the tiny 2 litre M20 straight-six up to the mighty 3.8 litre M5 and the lazy 4.0 V8 540i. Additionally I also had a go at Saab (two 9000s, a T16 and a V6 Griffith) and Audi (1990 100 2.3E and '97 S8 4.2 Manual) ownership, but in the end I always came back to BMW. As I sold my M5 E39 a few weeks ago, my only "summer toy" right now is a 2004 E46 M3 SMG Coupé. However, I am still looking for a good E34...

So, how did I end up driving a FiST? Well, I've always had a soft spot for Hot Hatches (I did own a '08 Suzuki Swift Sport for a few months), and somewhere around June last year I decided it was time for me to get a sensible, reliable and fun daily driver with full dealer warranty. I didn't really know what to get, so after watching a Top Gear episode where the boys raved about the FiST, I just thought "let's have a look at that...". Two days later, I ordered it [biggrin]

It's a 2015 ST 3-door Hatchback (only body available here) in so-called "ST2 Spec".
Exterior colour is Spirit Blue with Charcoal Black/Storm Grey Recaro seats inside.
I ticked every box the options list offered, except the reversing camera (looks ugly) and the "Performance Pack" (only cosmetic upgrades).
I picked it up in early September and it's been my daily driver ever since; it now has around 13500kms/8500mls on the clock.
Only mod so far are the 17" Oz Italia 150 rims (curbed one already [?|] ).
As I don't want to risk loosing the 5-year warranty, I am fairly limited when it comes to modding the car...

Looking forward to some good times on this forum! [:)]

Drive safe,
Jean-Louis
