    Wow it's really that bad? I must've been spoiled, I've never owned a car that took more than 5 minutes to swap the filter.

    [not counting cars where I didn't bother doing it, have flipped a bunch of cars I never had long enough to swap the filter].

    mainly every non-asian manufacturer has terrible cabin air filter designs.. :\

    My Wife's Mazda uses two filters that stack on top of each other that's a pain. You have to get the top one in first it has a groove that it slides into, and then the bottom one slides into the top filter.
    my mom's Hyundai sonata is the easiest one I've ever seen. All you have to do is drop the glove box 2 clips pull out the filter install done.

    ...and this is why that my 20k dealer service is only the cabin filter and a brake inspection, coming from a guy who pretty much does all his own work and maintenance, LOL.
