I got one and already installed to the UK version but there will come out error code. Is it not work for the stock ECU map?

I have never used a vent to air setup before, just recirc systems. My question is, is there any chance for Debris/ dirt to get into the thing and cause internal engine or turbo damage. I realize that it only is designed to allow air flow/ pressure out but I am kind of OCD on things like this and want confirmation, lol.

Safeblower,
This is a simple spacer and should cause any error codes.
I don't see how it can be installed incorrectly but recheck your work.
Is it possible that you forgot to reconnect the valve electrical connector?

JPGC,
This unit is on the output side of the compressor as you know.
I would never say that it is impossible however it is highly unlikely that anything could get in.
Unless of course you put your car into something above the axels.

Because I have been asked more than once now.
Here are the tools I used for this install.
In addition another FiST owner came here to install his adaptor and used the same tools.

These can be purchased at most auto parts stores.

That's my thought as well. I don't plan on driving into a lake, lol.

We use UPS ground! Should ship out today, so you'll most likely get your stuff by the end of the week. You'll be emailed a tracking number once the label is printed!

Just got mine in the mail. Fast shipping. Very impressed. Now, I'm a very crappy mechanic, Ive read that this is very easy to do, so i thought I'd give it a go. A few questions.

1. Do I access it from above or underneath the car?

2. An Allen key and socket wrench is all that's needed?

Thanks

Because I just did this I can share some insight. You get access through the passenger side from underneath. Remove passenger side wheel. Only tool you need is a 5mm hex head bit. Make sure you have plenty of extensions and wobble sockets. Haha
