Hey guys, just wrapped up my install of the 2JR cowl intake on my 2018 FiST. I couldn’t find any pics when I was going through this so here y’all go.

To start, I want to note that the upper cowl needs no cutting, just the lower. Also, I used a dremel which I kinda regret cause it spins to quickly and instead of cutting, it melts the plastic.

As for the lower cowl (in orientation of looking front to back) I proceeded to cut a little over a 3” on the left and a little over 4” on the right and using a straight line to connect the two for a nice total of three cuts.

Nice man, I wrapped my cut in rubber foam and it make it look a bit better. I also put sound deading material in there. Mainly where it could contact metal to metal. Stopped the rattling noise I would get occasionally and slightly dampened the turbo sound. But overall I love the intake.
