Got my MAP exhaust all mounted up this afternoon!

A big thanks to Adam (@maperformance) from MAP for his awesome customer support. The parts shipped overnight (very pleasant surprise), and I was able to take advantage of the beautiful weather this afternoon to get it installed.

Now for the money shots (potentially NSFW weld porn):

Install vid/sound clip:

It's a very deep and throaty with some nice burbles! And no drone at highway speeds either. All in all, an awesome product from MAP. I would gladly do business with them again! [twothumb]

I still need to get some video of the sound, but it's a very deep and throaty with some nice burbles! And no drone at highway speeds either. All in all, an awesome product from MAP. I would gladly do business with them again! [twothumb]

How has the Cobb held up?
Good, haven't been under the car in a while to check it out but still sounds good. The tips are getting a little corrosion on them, but that might just be from me not wiping or cleaning them all winter :X

I got scrubbing when it gets warm with some polish should do the trick. But it's always good to have options, and Map and CPE seems to be some great choices. CPE just seems a little high for my taste although it is a true 3'' exhaust which would be ideal for going to big turbo obviously.

rallyflapz installed

Got these from performance creations in the UK. They came with brackets specific for the Euro 3 dr model. Took my time but not difficult overall - good way to spend a relaxed Sunday.

Sorry about poor iPad quality.

I was going to say....being from down under things are right side up now vs. Ass backwards. The below shots are more like it!

Don't know wtf happened. Hadn't even had a beer [cheers] But, yeah not my finest picture posting! Flaps look good in real life though. Gloss black polyurethane and fit pretty snug.

Emptied my Boomba catch can today, genuinely surprised by how much oil was in the can, about 12k miles of accumulation. If you haven't thought about a oil catch can please go get one now!

damn i need one.. any one have input on which catch cans will and will not work with a 2J intake
Hmm not sure which will work with the 2J intake but I highly recommend the Boomba can, first off it works! Second the mount is secure and easily accessible for service and lastly the capacity is really large. From the amount of oil I saw accumulate, you can probably go 20-25k miles between emptying the can.
