I was just up in your area last weekend, running some roads. (See the write-up in the Southeast section). If you are interested, I'd like to get a meet together in Boone, NC or Damascus, VA. Something central to the great roads. Something in the fall would be really cool.

I'm extremely interested and either is fine neither is too far but Damascus is better for me because that's only maybe 20-25 min or so from where I live. Boone is a little further but either is fine with me and very doable. We do have some awesome roads around here I love it perfect for these cars :)

I started an annual Miata event in Boone several years ago (that's still going), and it would be really easy to duplicate that event for ST's.

Check out our "road list".

Sweet list man I just drove hayters gap last week pretty nice road that comes from saltville that's where I live lol. You should add va 16 sugar grove va to marion va and also va 16 Marion va to rich valley va both are tight very scenic mountain roads in particular the lader. I'm familiar with us 421 and 58 from Damascus.

A friend did a pretty cool video of my car on Hayters Gap. Fun road, but very dirty.

I love VA 16 (it's number 39 on that list, mapped from Mouth of Wilson to Tazewell.)

58 is one of my favorite roads, especially on the Grayson Highlands end.

That is awesome bro unfortunately I am currently out of high speed data on my phone so I will check out the video as soon as i get some or get to a computer lol. I like route 80 from that area and it connects to 19 across that mountain that's a good road too lots of good roads around this area very nice place to live as far as that goes! Very much looking forward to the meet. Went to Bristol tn to thunder valley drag way for Thursday night street fights last night and knocked off a 14.6 at 95 with my first and only run. Not too bad for a tune intercooler and drop in filter. I can improve upon it some I had a crappy 2.3 60 foot time due to a little bogging I forgot to turn off traction control lol. I think if I run without my gf with the rear and passenger seat out and work on that 60 foot time I can get her down in the low 14s at 96+. Not a drag car but I like to run down there it's fun. This car was meant for the twisties but nice to run drag too there's no twisty tracks around close that I know of. I plan an 2jr Intake DEPO catless dp and switch to an accessport for a custom e30 E tune and try to get her in the high 13z on stock turbo. Not bad for 1600-1700 ft elevation I'm not sure how much that effects a turbo car but still.

Anyways back on topic I am very much excited about this potential meet and run of STs that would be great. Is this going to be mostly FiSTs or will there be some FoSTs and possibly other cars too. I asked my friend who has my old red svt focus to come along too when this goes down and ride with us. Very much looking forward to it and I checked out that event on FB is that just for miatas or all cars??? Thanks
Michael

That's pretty decent times. I drove my buddy's Stage 3 Cobb the other day, and it's definitely way faster than mine. I'm excited to get my Miata project finished so I can get started making the FiST faster.

I'd probably make it open to all Fiesta/Focus/Escort RS/ST/GT. I'd hate to miss out on any Cosworth RS Escorts that might be out there :D

No, it's not just Miatas. I just happen to have a lot of friends with fast Miatas who want to come. There will also be Mazda 2, 350z, Focus RS, WRX, GT86, and I will probably be in the FiST.
