My Fist has too much hp.
I can't stick the hp that I have.
I can't floor it in any gear except 6th w/o spinning.
I'm running Firestone Firehawks.
Even on dry pavement in warm weather.
I'm going to try some other tires.
Love this rc car!

I bought it super tuned. And yes, I'm even spinning in 5th.

I wish I knew what all was done. I bought it from a dealer this way. All I know for sure is it Def got a tune. Mountune parts, cat back, some intake stuff, a hybrid thingy that makes the worship sound, it annoying too loud, stickers from every part added on the inside. Everything seems professionally done.

Got photos? I've been in NEOH for 4 years now - might recognize the car from previous owner.

You're just spinning tires a lot more than we are apparently! ;)

My DWS06+ all seasons won't break in 3rd gear on stock turbo E30 on good pavement in recent weather (60's to 80's). I ran my Indy's at pretty high pressures for better stiffness and they would break a lot setup that way. Are your pressures high? Maybe hybrid IS that good. o_O

My ridiculous set is R888R's that hook all the time. Just getting first and second gear on the table can really hurt some feeling from a red light. Sounds like you're already after something stickier for good reason.

I went out to double check.
Obviously it is warmer out.
I'm not spinning in 5th gear.
I didn't mean to embellish.
Maybe temperature or my memory.
Still think better sticky tires will help.
Def. in the rain.
My Acura TL sticks better w/ the blizzaks.
Anyone try Falken tires?
I can get 4 installed out the door for $500.

Well, my bad.
Apparently, temperature is everything.
When they state summer, they mean summer.
Sticking in all gears now.

If you have summer tires, yes they will be useless below 40 ish degrees.

They actually didn't start hooking until the outside temp went above 70 degrees. Now I like them.
But I don't live in a place where this is the norm.
So, I will try to burn through them and let the problem take care of itself.
Going to go w/ the Falken's when this comes up.
$500 out the door.
Unless people tell me not to, as I have 0 experience w/ Falken tires.
