Anyone know the difference between ST and non steering rack?

They have different part numbers. Could be steering ratio, or steering effort.

Steering ratio.

ST - 13.6:1
Non-ST - 14.3:1

the change in steering ratio was done on the spindle by changing the location of the tie rod end pick-up. That came from a highly reliable source. This was in 2013 talking about the 2014 car and we know there has been changes since then.

Interesting!

How about the high speed electronic "nibbling" that goes on with the steering, might that be the steering rack or is that off the rack? Is it something that even the lesser Fiesta models have? Just talking out loud.
