Needing to replace my bellhousing and am unable to find the name/part number for this bushing.
Service manual lists as "shift shaft bushing" but the Ford parts department cant find anything like it.
Hoping someone on here has an idea as I'm at a complete loss.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest bringing the parts to a transmission repair shop and have them replace it.

Am I way off thinking that some of the tools shown in that file ( I use the same online 'manual') are homemade? There's a seal installer for the CV shaft that looks verrrry similar.

The tool is available, it is the busing that can't be found.

You will most likely need to import this from the UK/Europe. Ford doesn't like selling the internal parts to our transmissions (or any transmission) here, they'd rather replace the entire unit. I believe this is the part number though 98WZ-7335-A

Really appreciate all of the replies, @MagnetiseST was correct with the part number, thank you very much! Surprisingly they said it should be here overnight, I'm in Toronto so here's hoping.
