About time I started a build thread. Will be posting pictures shortly.
I used to own a 19 that I purchased new and babied. I wanted more - I wanted a gutted track rat that I could abuse. My car was 18 months old and had under 8k miles, XPEL ppf on the whole front, etc. Simply put - too nice to abuse.
Enter the 2014 blue Fiesta ST purchased sight (sort of) unseen from Co-part. It was listed as running/driving, however the hood was stuck closed. Odd. Here is a picture of how it sat at the auction yard:
I paid a bit more than I should have but it had Recaros (emphasis on had) and it looked lowered to me (it wasn't). Also the wheels/tint led me to believe I should take a gamble in hopes of finding extras under the hood. Cobb RMM and CAI - better than nothing but still underwhelming. Here it is upon arrival:
And here is how it sits now:

What is TO be done in the near future: (parts on hand unless otherwise noted):

And here is how it sits now:
What's been done:
- Remove and sell Recaro interior.
- Remove and replace windshield
- Remove and repair (sorta) crunched front bumper.
- Remove/replace pass. side headlight
- Remove/replace drivers steering wheel airbag, drivers footwell airbag, two front impact crash sensors, clock spring, drivers seatbelt (rebuilt original), airbag module (rebuilt original).
- Remove/replace hood, radiator support and support bracket, torn coolant hose (one), torn evap line
- Removed A/C compressor/condensor/drier and easily accessible lines; replaced with A/C delete pulley and belt; replaced broken guide pulley. Saved 20+ lbs and A/C was broken anyways.
- Removed damaged radiator and fan shroud; replaced with Mishimoto radiator and shroud, using stock fan
- Removed stock crash bar; replaced with TB Performance crash bar
- Repair rear door hinge, change oil, add coolant, cross fingers and press Start button.
What is TO be done in the near future: (parts on hand unless otherwise noted):
- Install 16x8 RPF1s with 205/45 RE71r tires - already wish I went wider
- Install upgraded pass. side motor mount
- Install Whoosh intercooler pipes with V3 black intercooler (intercooler on order)
- Install Powerstop Track Day rotors, pads; upgraded fluid and lines; Boomba brake deflectors
- Install Whoosh short shift kit and bushings (both sides); planning upgraded shifter at some point
- Install/adjust ISC coilovers
- Install custom stock frame upgraded turbo; install Whoosh catted 3" coated downpipe (on order); install MBRP exhaust; custom tune via AP
- Install Sparco Chrono seat, Sparco slider, Planted bracket. Still unsure on passenger seat
- Drop off car for custom half cage by local fabricator; sunroof removal and panel welded in place; vinyl wrap roof in black.
- Find/install harnesses (haven't decided yet)
- Sell EVERYTHING I pull off the car to recoup some costs
