Boar's Hair Car Wash Brushes safe on the Focus RS?

Seems we have some detailing experts here so figured I should ask this question. I have a co-worker at work that suggested I should try Boar's Hair Car Wash Brushes on my Focus. Any thought on this, is it safe to use on a regular basis?

I have one, purchased it from Autogeek. I do use it on occasions whenever I'm in a hurry, the key is to make sure you let the brush soak in water for a few minutes to soften up the hair. Most of the time I still use a microfiber mit.

TBH, the only boar's hair I use is on the interior.

I've never got into using brushes on my cars period. Always stuck to microfibers.

Those are junk and will probably end up causing micro scratches.
