Changing in the USA Fiesta MK7 ST seats to recaro EU spec

I have Recaro EU seats and I would like to install them in my Fiesta USA. I saw that there was a different presence of a passenger. Has anyone done such a swap?

Hello! I'm also in this boat, just picked up a set of recaros from the UK I believe since the occupancy sensor is in the right-hand seat. The plugs are completely different to the US-spec seats and I'm considering just swapping the cloth seat harness for the belts and rigging up the airbags so the car thinks they're plugged in. I'm hoping I can swap the passenger sensor as well without much fuss but I'm waiting for my torx bit set to get in to remove the cloth seats.
