So I felt like there wasnt much differnce between the stock tune and stage 1. So last night I went to the track to compare them. Sure enough identical times. I did a total of 5 runs at the 1/8th mile track and everyone one of them were identical. The stock map seems to trap a little higher as well and it doesnt pull timing as much therefore it has a harder "hit" when the boost comes on. My mods are Cobb Drop in, FRPP catback and Accesport V104 on the 91 map with 93 Octane. OAR was -1.00. Crazy stuff.

Run the v100 map. That map does wonders! I have that and an intake and got a significant amount of power. Look into getting v100

I never got into that whole running different maps for different octane. I ran 93 104 map on 93 octane and loved it. Significant more power and launch than stock. I went the more specific route now though and have Randy send me tines based off my mods. Which is even better than the OTS maps from Cobb.

That's what I'm saying. Never understood that mixing maps and octanes. Ran what's suppose to be ran; it's made that way.

Dude trust me. The v100 map gives you more power. People kept complaining about lack of traction so they lowered the power. Run the v100 map and if you don't feel the difference then just go back. What do you really have to lose. Nothing, but you can always gain :) and I don't run 93 because I live in California

I still got the v100 on my ap it does feel faster on a butt dyno. Doubt that its better than the v104. Just better power delivery.

93 showed alot of timing retard and was less powerful then 91.

weird. Will look into.

Is that true? They lowered the power? That doesn't sound like something Cobb would do.
This.

Butt dyno and trap speeds are two different things. Remember, smooth is fast. Power delivery plays a big role in the perception of "fast".

Absolutely. great post.
Is that a typo or are you going me a retard?
No typo. I said timing was retarded i.e it was pulling timing.

Yes power delivery is its own thing but when I had my up to date tune I was very disappointed. I switched to it and I was no longer disappointed. I started completely beating cars I would lose to on the up to date tune. From a dig, 20,40,60 you name it! But that's my 2 cents. If I didn't think it was a deal changer I wouldn't have posted it lol. But feel for your self good sir
