E40 Tuning still underway by Adam at MaPerformance. Currently waiting for the 2JR cowl intake and Stratified Aux Fueling system to go straight E85.

Are you going to run any 93 oct tests? I am following in your footsteps, but will use 93 on street and most likely E 30 on track, no ethanol supplies near me so its a lot of trouble to haul except for special occasions.

Looking forward to your opinion of EWG and its value with Cyborg. I know SS is thinking of going this direction too.

Also, I will probably stick with my Cobb IC and try bumper beam and hood cooling mods if I can find some salvage parts close enough to pick up.

Unfortunately with our 4000ft altitude we only have 91 octane, so doing an E30 mix tune is needed. I'll have some numbers posted soon from a dyno....

Looks good! You have an email btw with a new tune file and some information!
Your tunes have really smoothed out the pulls, quality work for sure! I'll get the car on the lift to see what's going on with the wastegate, hopefully just a hose popped off and not anything mechanical/major with the Tial MV-S..

Good to hear, everything looks great but the boost at this point. I would check the routing of the hoses. I think you might have them routed incorrectly, which is easy to do. Also, if you still have your stock wastegate actuator you should run a single vacuum line to it, it will help with spool. Unless you have the factory flapper welded shut.

Yes, the factory one is taken off and welded shut. I'll send you a datalog after sorting it out..

Interesting, in for updates!
I was having boost issues trying to figure out how to route the vacuum lines so the boost control solenoid would do it's thing, no matter how it was run it would just build up to spring pressures... all good now that it's sorted out, I'll take some pictures so if anyone else is going this route you can see how to connect it. Before everything was connected we did some comparisons/measurements with other turbo kits at the shop. The cyborg is much like the gt2560 used in the sr20det so 270hp should be feasible and seeing that Sourskittles has hit 280+ with an upgraded internal wastegate and not the external Tial you might not need the added welding/fabrication for his kit. I'm still in the tuning process with Adam but currently at 237hp/250tq, looking and feeling good so far!

thanks for update, I have been looking for it every day. Do you think routing EWG opposite from turbine exhaust direction handicaps potential gains with this approach?

For the power level the upgraded flapper and turbosmart wastegate is all that is needed. The Tial is tall and the intake line gets heated because it's close to it (wrap it), but once my cowl intake gets installed it won't be an issue. This turbo has a strong midrange that carries to redline...

Its been a few days, UPDATES!!! lol
HA! Sorry, just got a message from Russ (DHM) and he sent me a pic of the aux fuel kit from Stratified. Once I get the kit from him I'll install it with the modded throttle body and cowl intake all at once then continue tuning. Adam told me the cyborg was running out of air up top (just blowing hot) so maybe the added cool fuel will keep it in check.. we'll see..

With E30, my crappy elevation I'm currently at 261whp and 265wtq... still tuning with Adam... TIAL EWG is doing something weird at random rpm points... I'm about to drop some 30lb springs in it and run E85 with the added aux fueling kit...

How is that Quafie LSD treating you? Since it's not a plate LSD how does it do at full lock? Grinding or any noises at all?

Also would love to see a full shot of the car with those vents.
