Well i get my car next week finally and i have my slicks and cobb sitting here waiting! There is a NO ET event that i run one of my customers Evo's (10.0@142mph on 26psi of boost last year) at and i will be taking my new FiST and my Old Ladies FoST to. It is on Saturday Nov 1st. I was hopping maybe some local FiST or FoST guys would like to join in on the fun. Im a fairly experienced FWD drag racer that love to have other FWD drive guys around new and old. If you have never been I would not mind taking a few min and helping at all. I have been drag racing FWD for 11years now and can say i have well over 400 passes on FWD cars. Im hoping to see more local guys come have a good time at the drag strip!
I took my old lady and her Focus ST to the track this last week end for the first time. She had been to the drag strip before but never raced she had a blast only made 4-5 passes her best pass was a 14.77@96. I managed a 14.55@97. I have not had a chance to teach he how to do a little burn out to clean the tires and warm them up for that little bit extra on the 60ft. Also i think she may be a little off on the shift yet still. She has only had the car for a month and its the first time owning a manual. Once we get the cobb in i can look at the logs and see what she is doing.
