Hi everyone! Just bought a 2015 ST in Tuxedo Black and everything about it is amazing, except for the stereo. I want to upgrade the speakers and add an amp. Are the the speakers crossed over at the headunit or through a physical crossover in the door, or both? I'm just wondering if I have to get a summing LOC or not.

If they are cossed at the head unit, can I just wire the two together and throw them in an LOC?

The head unit on my 2014 w/ Nav is just 4 channels crossed over in the doors via a capacitor in line with the tweeters. You don't need a summing LOC for this scenario, honestly IMO there is no need for a LOC at all with most good to high quality amps now either though.
