Do you leave your AP plugged in all the time?

Just trying to get an idea or whether or not it's ok/safe to constantly leave the AP plugged in with the gauges running. In theory it seems ok, but I also don't want to overuse it (if that's a thing) and end up bricking my car. What do you do?

Mine stays plugged in constantly; haven't had any issues in ~18 months. It deactivates when you turn the car off, and reactivates on power. I know plenty of people have theft concerns so they don't use it for constant monitoring; so keep that in mind if you live/work in an area that a lot of other people have access to.

I only remove it in questionable areas. Did the same for my mazdaspeed.

I leave the Ultra Gauge plugged in ALL of the time, but then it co$t$ about 1/7th of what the AP does, so is a lot less 'tempting' to break-in low lives. [wink]

I have mine plugged in all the time. But when I park, I take it off the magnetic mount and hide it under the steering column so nobody is tempted to break in and take it.

Cool, thanks everybody. I think that's enough of a "poll" for me to make my decision.
