Eibach Springs settling ?

I will be installing some Eibach springs this weekend. I know all springs settle or compress slightly when first installed but I can't remember how long this takes and will they settle just sitting in the driveway or do I need to be driving it? I want to make sure the ride height is where it's going to be before I go and have the alignment checked after the install.

You should always drive the car to get the suspension to set correctly.
