Check this out! Full M-Sport price listing for an R2 FiST conversion... has me feeling hungry 🤤
I have one of these set ups in stock
M-Sport brackets
The spoiler is a fiberglass copy of the CF M-Sport. Sourced from Europe
plus new OEM non-ST spoiler which is needed for the install
I have about $1500 in the package - make an offer if interested

Are you talking about the old Mk7 WRC car spec M-Sport spoiler?

Yeah, that's not for sale anywhere, and to even get one, you would have to be an official M-Sport dealer or such.

You could try contacting McKenna Motorsports, as he has one on his ARA open class, S2000 class based mixed parts/'hybrid' Fiesta, and as far as I know he is the current R5 and above M-Sport dealer in this land, but yeah, IF actually available BIG $$$$$$!

The Reiger coil over kits actually came down a little bit in price to only ([histerical]) ~$6810!! LOL
They would still need a conversion to the base car's front knuckles/uprights in order to work/fit though.

The Sadev sequential gearbox at ~$5810 is actually not too bad as far as those things go, IF you could still find/fab up an adapter/bell housing, and a 'streetable' NOT 'on-off switch' type clutch/flywheel to use with it. [wink] (NOT that it would be 'streetable' anyway! [:(])

I was a general rally fan (and specifically a FORD rally car fan) from way back in the NA Cosworth headed, RWD group 4 Escort RS Mk1s/Mk2s in the early '70s.

The WRC (and stage rallying in general) is my fave form of motorsport over all others (including even F1, ALMS, all touring car, all forms/classes of SCCA road racing, etc.).

The shame is that it is NOT very popular here in this land, despite popular figures from other very popular sports loving it, and being heavily involved in it (Ken Block, Travis Pastrana, etc.).

Even on here, most only recognize these cars we own as great autocross, open track, and for some, even as drag race cars (LOL), whereas on a global scale/stage they are absolutely most successful at RALLYING only. [wink]

Funny, since FIA WRC started up again today, I was just looking at the Fiesta R2 and R4 front wheel. Then saw the R4 4wheel drive :love:.

I now wonder if the FIA is eventually going to replace the worldwide/WRC R5 class with this one, it being soooo much more affordable, accessible, and easy to maintain/support/campaign than any R5 car, and IF they are NOT going to require hybrid power/drive trains for any class below top WRC spec, going forward. [dunno]

It is almost like a much more affordable, less bespoke/exotic part containing, more standardized, S2000 class of old, but with much more 'tractable' and 'torquey' turbo power, vs that old class's VERY peaky/torque-less ~300 naturally aspirated AWHP.
In other words, THE most affordable turbo AWD rally class for (mostly for now) worldwide competition. [thumb]

They certainly look A LOT cooler (with those big box flares and hood vents) than the FWD R1/R2/R2T cars, which are almost 'showroom stock' appearing from the outside (the old now defunct, all naturally aspirated 1.6 liter R1 cars WERE basically a 'showroom stock' rally class, being even much more sedate than the old Group N class (i.e.; NO; coil over suspensions, factory sliding caliper brakes were required, factory hubs/uprights only, no engine mods at all, no lightweight parts allowed, no aero/bodywork at all, etc.).

Wow the R1 category is pretty close to stock then. What's the difference between R2 and R2T?

The R2T cars are just the latest rules evolutions of the most current (as in Mk 8s as far as Fiestas are concerned), turbocharged versions of the R2 class, which previously was Mk 7s.
But very confusingly, I have seen some of the older Mk7, 1 liter Ecoboost Fiestas listed as R2Ts as well, so [dunno].

The rules allow M-Sport to mod/tune the 1 liter 3 cylinders up to ~200 WHP (from the factory power of 123 bhp)
