Ford Galaxie

When my mother and father first started dating my father had a 1967 Ford Galaxie 500. Well my mom and father separated when I was little but my dad stayed in touch with me. Now that I am older and have learned to appreciate everything they both did for me I want to do something for them. Unfortunately my dad passed away six years ago last week. So I am planning on purchasing a 60s model Galaxie fast back. I am on here looking for ideas from you gentleman about what you would recommend doing. Some design ideas, engine ideas (fuel injection vesus carburation) and some other ideas as far as making it better in general cause I am planning on giving to my mom when I am done. Thank you all for anything you can put forward.

I LOVE resto mods!! I plan to do one on a 68 Road Runner. All the bad assness of the 60's with modern drivability. Fuel injection, fully independent suspension and disc brakes with a slick shifting tranny.
