In the Modified Street class, are you required to retain the factory HU, but can add-on some limited signal boosting/tuning items to help out the sound (like the DSP)?

(I know little to nothing about high end car audio.)

In mod street you can replace the factory radio as long as it is minimally invasive. The Fiesta makes that very difficult.if you go to http://www.mecacaraudio.com you can read the rulebook that will give you a lot of insight. That being said, I have actually moved to the highest class, Master.
