Hard to change gear under load

hey guys just looking for some help. i’ve recently purchased an ST 180 and it’s hard to go through the gears under load ( including down shifts ).
when the car is at normal speed it slots into gear smoothly with no noises or issues what so ever.
there’s also no noise on the overrun and the clutch feels solid and does slip at all under heavy load.
Any one else had this issue ?

First place to check is to adjust your shifter linkage

While you’re at it, check that there’s no obvious slop in the shift bushings at the transmission, and take a look at your motor mounts, especially the lower rear.
