Has anyone successfully used this NAV method?

Just curious. I just got my '15 ST about a week ago and have been digging through Google looking for a way to add NAV. My "hacking" experience is limited to somewhere around rooting/installing custom ROMs on a phone. I was wondering if anyone has first hand experience with this method and how they'd rank it as far as difficulty/risk of bricking my MFT?

This could easily brick your MyTouch system if you don't know what you are doing. This is for an old (2012 Focus) and is having you modify the as-built data. For one the values are more than likely different, and if you were to set it to what they have you set it to you could brick it. Just my .2 cents
