Hey guys, picked up my Fiesta ST a couple weeks back but didn't get a chance to post until now. I've been lurking this forum since before I got my FiST and I have to say what an awesome community this is! Very informative and helpful.

Onto the pics! I got an Ingot Silver ST with Recaros, Rados, Nav, and Moonroof.

Sounds good! I've only spotted a couple in the area (work in Reston) but this would definitely be awesome.

Thanks everyone! This is actually my first manual, been wanting to get one for a while now, looked at the WRX, GTi, Si, and FoST and finally decided on the FiST and loving every minute of it.

Welcome! I'm looking forward to seeing what is close enough to be my car's clone around Sterling.

Congrats on the new ride. Just curious what dealership you (or other NOVA locals on the forums) went through and what your experience was like. I'm thinking of getting an FiST soon somewhere in the Fairfax/Arlington area.

Congrats, I too have had mine for a few over a month and still need to do my intro thread. Whoops. Love the silver, my second favorite! Who'd you buy from?

I'm central VA but hopefully can tag along for meets every now and then. Used to be pretty active with my old Civic buddies in Nova.

I purchased mine from Ted Britt Fairfax despite not being all that local and had a very positive ordering experience. I went through Bernie, dude was awesome, no bullshit whatsoever. I recommend him to anyone, but especially if you know someone who wants to order. He was extremely proactive and willing throughout the process. Many dealerships stopped giving a shit when I said I wanted an ordered car.

Their prices are very competitive and they gave me a very fair trade in price too. Only things to watch out for from them, the CSR and finance people are a bit pushy with the usual protection package/warranty shenanigans (who isn't these days) and make sure you call DMV yourself and report your car as sold if you're trading in. They flubbed the paperwork on mine, found out when the local tax man asked me to pay my dues on a car I no longer owned.

Thanks guys! Enjoying every moment with the car and love that turbo spooling. [:D]

I was in the market for a new car and was cross shopping the FiST with the FoST, GTi, WRX, Civic Si, basically anything with 4 doors and was fun to drive. I went into a couple dealerships in the area to check out the car and made my decision after seeing it in person and test driving it. I emailed a whole bunch of dealerships asking about the best OTD price and went with the dealer that had the car/configuration I wanted in stock.

I ended up driving out to Apple Ford to get the car. Pretty far out from where I am, but was definitely worth the drive to get the color/options I wanted. Only had about 2-3 hours driving manual beforehand so the drive home was definitely interesting but actually pretty easy to drive for a new manual driver.

Overall, I had good purchasing experience from the dealer. Spent about 3 hours from the time I walked in to the time I walked out so not too bad. Heard about others spending all day at car dealerships so I couldn't even imagine that experience, 3 hours was long enough for me haha.

Got the car for 23K OTD, took the customer cash (1K) and went with my own financing. Didn't purchase anything extra except the Extended Warranty, which I wasn't planning on purchasing initially but the Finance guy pushed really hard and I got it at a discount, so I figured it would be more peace of mind than anything since this is my first brand new car.

Let me know if any of you guys are looking to purchase something similar or any questions I can help you guys with. I can probably pass my sales guy's name along through PM as well. Pretty cool guy and had very good customer service.

I was on my way to a dealership in VA and wanted to call to make sure they still had the car and let them know and they ended up selling the car last night. they only have 1 left and it's silver with nav and roof I believe. waiting to hear back about if they will give me the price that was on the other one because I really don't want a silver one.
