Hi all! Been lurking here a short while but thought I should say hi. I've had my '16 shadow black fiesta st since july and really having fun. I've learned alot of great info here just trying to do research on mods, etc. The FiST is such a great car out of the box. I've done a canyon run or two and a couple track days already and I am very impressed with it's handling! Haven't been excited about a real usable car like this in awhile. I think about this car all the time!

What track events have you been attending? I have been out with Speed Ventures a couple times in my previous car (E39 540i 6-speed sport), and I am planning on doing Buttonwillow with them on the 9th of October. This will be my first track event in the FIST which I have had since April. Welcome!

Hey thanks! I was just at Spring Mountain in Nevada for a couple days...it's a private club track. I ran a fairly long 4.0 mile course which included the entire tight and twisty inner section as well as a fairly long backstraight even with the bus stop sections, so I drove a good mix =). This was the first time on track in the FiST and I have to say it was fun...never felt like I was driving a FWD..just very balanced (this is coming from driving this track the last 5 or so years in a track modified lotus elise) I've run with SpeedVentures for many years! I've also tried out Xtremespeed and Shelby club back in the early days. I hope you have fun at Buttonwillow! Remember to turn off the traction control! I forgot the first time out and I came in with the brakes smoking hot!
