How does "In-Production" Ordering of parts work?

I purchased a True CAI/Cowl Intake from 2J-Racing, and it says on their website that the product is "in production" and "will ship on April 30". I put it an order, got a PayPal receipt, but until now no sign of the item being shipped. I've been trying to contact the vendor but no response at all. Is this common? Could they be flooded with inquiries and are just ignoring emails? Or is it a time for refund?

I'm starting to lose patience waiting (I want the intake badly), and the lack of response doesn't help with it either.

Sounds like you need to ask them. Only they know the status of their production line or supplier.

Thought I heard of them getting incorrectly dimesioned tubes from a vendor.
