I need help with my sync

I have sync 3 in my 18 fist, I took a power probe and checked to see if I was getting power the head unit gets power but the screen is black and the power button by the volume control doesn’t receive power either I’ve pressed the button to see if it will get power but it doesn’t I’m in a pickle I don’t want pay the 1000 for a new head unit from ford

Did you get any where with this? I had my system black out and had to buy a whole new unit. They are on line or you can hit up a junk yard to get one. Pretty easy to install just can get $$.
