Is a aftermarket intake needed?

So I just upgrade to a X47r turbo and I’m curious is a intake needed or beneficial? From what I’ve read and understand the stock intake works quite well. I’m just curious of your 2 cents or what you personally seen from your own cars.

Buy an St200 box* works just fine. I run Gen2 and make 340whp. Not sucking hot air.
