Hello Everybody
Ford tells me that this is normal ..for starters. .

My Fuel Pump Keeps Running when key is on and engine off ...
go for a drive and turn of the pump shuts of after 30 sec.
turn the key again ...and the pump runs all day long ...

ford tells me that nothing is wrong even when I told them about this
and that the power on higher gear is not really the same anymore...
so im having a bit of a problem here. . ...any ideas. ..

vacuum leak cannot build pressure and therefore keeps running
or ...well I let you come up with some input. ..
2016 plate Fiesta st ...love it.

Thanks in advance.

The Turbo does run out of steam eventually in the upper gears also.....So that is normal due to it being a smaller turbo and only able to move so much air at one time but with quick spool due to its size.[clap]

Run constantly, or just 'prime' the injectors for a second or so, and then stop? [dunno]

I imagine the car would be throwing codes, if the pressure wasn't to spec.

Anytime the key is on, but the engine isnt, the pump may run continuously. This is normal on a lot of vehicles
