Just wondering why there is not more excitement about the MK8 suspension changes,
specifically:

-Force Vectoring Springs
-Tenneco RC1 dampers
-Softer bushings

Seems like a simple upgrade that is getting rave reviews overseas of a vast improvement in ride quality and performance.
There was really only one other post bringing it up

Seems like it could possibly be an upgrade to the MK7 if we could get ahold of the parts. (the only other change seems to be a 22.5mm front sway)
The only thing that I could find was a force vectoring lowering spring from eibach

There seems to be an ongoing debate about what spring, shock, coilover, improves performance/ride quality/damping and this seems to be an all in one solution with no interest in bringing it in as a potential mod for the US market.

I was under the impression that the Mk8 had electronically controlled / adjustable dampers? Its possibly not worth the cost to bring over, when you could get similar / better results from an aftermarket spring & shock combination.

Suspension for a different Chassis not readily available on the North American continent makes it not as simple as one would think.
Not saying that adapting them might not work but thats going into is race car territory and for a lot of people its an extra expense hassle thats most like not worth the extra effort. Our cars handle great already and you can soften the ride up by changing from stock dampers to aftermarkets and still retain handling. As well as dropping down a inch in rim diameter and putting more rubber on.

Availability above all is the biggest factor. Sure you can get stuff from the likes of Puma Speed but were is support? What happens when one blows a shock and needs one. Car is down till the shock is ordered and delivered in from overseas. :ROFLMAO:

Vice versa. See also:

But I don´t know if it is possible just to use the force vectoring springs, or if I should adapt anyhow the rear beam.
Having the knowledge, it is simple to order force vectoring springs from the producer in my country, for me.
Eibach does good springs, but the lowering is not interesting for me.
Up to now I have just custom made front springs and shocks around plus 10 minutes toe in in the rear.
