More brake dust on front left rim than on the right. It seems that I can hear the pads more too.

I recently took the FiST on a 1000 miles jaunt and had a blast with it. When I returned, I washed the car and noticed significantly more brake dust build up on the driver's side front wheel. Thoughts? I had waxed all four wheels, so it's not an issue of exterior car care....

Thanks,

Jeff

Usually that happens when one brake caliper is sticking causing excess heat thus wearing the brake pads unevenly. If possible take the brake pads out and compare the thickness with a dial caliper. Another test to see if one side is sticking would be take it for a drive and get a spray bottle with some water in it and lightly spray each side after your drive. Usually if a side is sticking it steam and boil off much more than the other side. Hope that helps.

I may give the water bottle trick a try... Thanks!
