My oil analysis - Blackstone Labs 5673 miles

Here are the results from my second oil change at 5675 miles. My first oil change was at 1000 miles. I use Motorcraft 5W-20 semi-synthetic oil and motorcraft oil filter. I get the 5 quart container and filter for $23.00. So far, my engine looks pretty good even though I drive it like I stole it.. I'm going to change my oil evert 5000 miles. Blackstone charges $25.00 for the analysis. shipping the oil cost about $2.60

Motorcraft 5W-20 synblend ftw. I use it in my wife's Subaru WRX (5W-30) now, works great. I'll switch my R53 MINI to it next time it needs a change.

This is what I've wanted to see about the Semi-Synth blend. It appears going with 3x the cost for Ford Full Synthetic would be a total waste.

And wow, 5600 miles between changes. That's good to hear. I wonder if you stretched it out to the 7500 Ford recommends what would the next oil test say?
