Need advice

Hey guys, looking at a set of wheels that are 17x8 +42 with a set of 235/40/17. I am on stock suspension and would like to know if these are going to fit without rubbing.

I have a set of 17x8s with that same exact ET, but with 7.8" wide tread width 215/40-17s on the factory suspension, and they do not rub whatsoever.

I don't know about a tire that is a half inch taller, and .4" wider in tread width though.
Advan Flevas, or one of the 200 tread wear gumballs??
