Need some help with getting rear shock ring unstuck. Step bro?

Sprayed the living poop out of the rears. I was able to get the passenger rear to break free with consistent spraying. I thought i got the driver rear broken off but the ring is still stuck but now the whole shock moves with the ring...

The ring appears to be aluminum. Aluminum is known to expand pretty rapidly when heated. Try applying heat to the ring, only. Add your spray to the threads as it cools.

Got it free! Took me about 4 days. Used a heat gun but it was still stuck. Decided to take the shock off the car and put it on a vice and greased it along with hammering it clockwise and counter
