Painting the inside of tail lights.

Hey all,

Has anyone attempted to open up the tail lights to paint the inside of them? I'm not talking about night shade or dipping the exterior. I have heard of people baking open head lights and some tail lights. Others using a dremel to open them and then re-sealing them after. I want to get them open so I can paint the chrome part inside of them black. Any info or help is appreciated,

Thanks!

I've done it with my old Tacoma tail lights and now it's started a trend for that. Required cutting them open.

The Fiesta tails won't be nearly as easy as the Tacomas due to the odd shape and thin plastics, but yes basically use a hot knife to cut them open and then plastic-weld them back shut.

With that said, these tails are pretty cheap quality, so be patient.
