Finally sorted my overflow issue and now another one
Swapped my plugs today for some new oem ones and the vehicle stutters on full throttle above 2500rpm
Any ideas
Would be guessing maybe the ht pack as nothing else was touched
Plugs were torqued to 14ft lbs and everything re attached properly thankyoub

No was told the oem ones are gapped to the proper amount but great point
Would being gapped slightly out do this
Also so many threads with so many answers
Some people say 0.28 upto 0.32

Hmm did you check the gaps before installing them?

True, when I installed mine, they were all close to spec, around 0.31-32. I'm honestly not sure because I used a stack of measurement shims of different width rather than a single measuring disk, but I made sure gaps are the same across all 4.

AFAIK 0.28 is recommended for more aggressive tunes.

Did it set any codes? Did you Torque the spark* (F-ing spell check trash) plugs to proper spec.? Or just gutentitght? Are the coil packs properly seated slso?

What do you mean like engine management light. No no lights
Properly torqued and seated
Put my old spark plugs in and they worked before swapping plugs but when swapping back still had the same stutter

I'd go through a checklist to make sure it isn't any of the easy stuff:
-Clean/replace engine air filter
-Clean Mass Airflow Sensor
-Inspect spark plug well to make sure there isn't any debris (or OIL) in the threads
-Check to make sure its not your tune. Go back to your stock tune and see if that fixes it.

Especially since their tune/whole engine programming is based off of the MAF sensor over there in Jolly Ol' England (and the rest of Europe/most of the world). [wink]
