You should have said, "I don't answer questions without a lawyer present. I do not consent to searches. I will now remain silent." lmao

I've been pulled over numerous times by police....highway patrol and sheriff's deputies just to see if my Typhoon was actually real. A couple of times I've just pulled over with them on my bumper without the cherries on and just wait for them to saunter up to my window. I just say is there a problem offficer? They usually respond....Is this a real Typhoon? I've always wanted a Syclone or a Typhoon. Is it fast? Etc ....etc....I just snicker sometimes and say wanna see a boost launch? It's gonna be a magnet now since it's been restored to it former glory....just awaiting pickup this weekend. I haven't seen it since July.....hehe...it's gonna be epic!

I got pulled over for doing 60 in a 45. All the officer wanted to do was talk about my Fiesta ST. He did not use radar, otherwise my escort radar detector would have alerted me. He wanted to know if this was a Focus ST, and where I bought it. Who did the powdercoating on the wheels, and the big brake kit. I told him I did all the installations. The powder coated wheels were done by a shop out in Fontana. He gave me a warning, and told me to keep it down to 45 on this road, since other officers might give me a ticket. Since I stopped and my HIDs turned off, he never even saw my headlights.

I also got pulled over about 2 weeks ago, after I ran over a large piece of semi truck tire on the freeway, going to work. The officer was very friendly, even though it was about 4:00 in the morning. My whole front end was busted up and I was dragging my Triple R splitter. He probably thought I was drunk, and hit someone or something. I told him I was limping home to get my car towed to get the front end fixed. He told me to be careful, and waved me on. I was about 3 blocks from my home.

Hate to tell you, the 350R's MSRP starts at $61K. Price is spot-on.

Ha! I love when cops are cool like that and come up as regular folks with interest. I used to get pulled over all the time on my KTM 690 SMC that was anything but stock, always riding like a hoon, never once a ticket, cops liked the bike too much. I always apologized right off the bat and admitted to riding to fast, or going up or down the stairs, or through the park, they seemed to understand the bike just wanted to do crazy stuff ;)

I stopped by a VW dealer a few ago to pick some stuff up for my girls GTI, and was checking out the "R" they had. It had a 10k dealer mark up, and I asked about it because I was a bit shocked, they told me because it was 1 of only 2 in the state it'd fetch window price no problem... very cool car, but damn!

Hi. I'll bet you went to Royal Motors if you're in SF. They're expensive. My nephew and I outfitted a Golf R out and its on order. Hansel in Santa Rosa, and they promised us MSRP. They say they have the highest allocation in California. It's scheduled to arrive next month or January. I was ready to put down a deposit but they said it was not necessary. We have first right of refusal. Generally, when they hit the floor, they're gone.

Not Fiesta related, but I once got pulled over in my STI and the (rude) cop ask me what was up with the "silly looking wing and gold wheels?". It came from the factory like that. [sad]

Also went through the Euro car phase in college, had a euro plate on the front of my Audi. Cop pulled me over and asked if I was from Germany or something. Obviously not. So he told me to take the dumb plate off. I did.

I just saw a Lamborghini Huracan on Sunday and I see plenty of nice cars on my daily commute working in a wealthy area of the metroplex. So a lowly Fiesta ST doesn't really catch on the radar around this area. The orange paint on mine does stand out among the sea of white, black, and grey though. I got compliments on it when I first got it by co-workers, but they have no idea what it is. I scheduled an appointment for the windows to get tinted and that place does a lot of high dollar cars. The lady at the counter had never even heard of a Fiesta ST. They do post some of their jobs on cars on their Facebook page for examples so I'll see if my car makes it on there. Have not been pulled over in it yet and hope I don't anytime soon.

There are so many Ford Raptors around this area. I was looking at one on a dealer lot here awhile back and it was marked up something like $15-20k above sticker and the added sticker on the window said the reason for that was because of the location the truck was being sold in (DFW metroplex). A good portion of those Raptor owners likely bought their Raptors in the area and paid that markup... I personally chose to order my Fiesta with a small dealer over 100 miles away because none of the dealers in my area actually seemed to care about the customers. I paid about the same for my car either way but I got much better service. So I'd be hard pressed to pay a $15k markup just for the luxury of buying a truck in the city...

You probably missed the half mile event that was going on out in Sulphur Springs. There were about 4 Huracans.

I got pulled over 102 in a 75 and the officer was like "hey nice car, it's red though did you really think you would get away with that?" And I said "maybe" he then laughed and gave me a warning. Best night ever.
