Refrigerant hose routing

Hey everyone,

I recently noticed an issue that was likely introduced when Ford did the coolant recall. The thick refrigerant hose was routed too close to the plastic frame edge and got worn through pretty badly over the years. The spot can be seen here

Problem is I don't know how everything is _supposed_ to be routed. I would really appreciate if someone (preferably with 2014 w/ recall done) could post some photos of the same area.

Thank you,

Sorry I'm not replying with the information you want as I have 2015 without the recall done. But speaking of the recall. Is that something that is available to all STs without it done. I don't understand how I have brought mine in for service before and they not bring it up or complete the recall. I haven't brought my ST into Ford since like early 2021 because I started doing all of it myself, so there's that.

AFAIK its limited to 2014 models and they later changed the head design to avoid the issue. Instead of putting in new motor for 2014 models, they simply added a sensor that will notify you that your motor failed lol.

EDIT: Correction, 2015 models might also be affected but maybe yours was not in that group

I thought there was a plastic piece that went between them. Then again I think a few others have had this issue over the years.
