Replacement tires for stock rims?????

I was sent these by [MENTION=636]RAAMaudio[/MENTION] anyone have experience with them? and does anyone have recommendations I was looking at the Federal 595 RSR's but they don't come in a size I wanted.

The tires are your ONLY contact with the road. Going, stopping, turning, you ONLY contact is the tire. Don't go cheap.

I haven't run that exact tire model but I run the Federal EVO-595's and I will say that after 4 track days and about 10k miles, they are SO worth it. For a tire being that inexpensive, it handles incredibly well in the dry, and does well in the wet. They are much better than the OEM Bridgestones, and they have higher tread wear. The 595 RS-R's are really track tires only. Those are the ones that I'm planning on getting for track days only. But as far as my daily driving goes, the EVO-595's are worth it.

I wish that they made both of those above (and the RS-Rs) in a 225/50-15!

Yeah, since you are in SoCal you might actually be able to pick them up and save on shipping. I live in NorCal, so I have to have them shipped to me which is a bit annoying.

I've heard bad feedback from Michelin AS/3's I think I will go with one of the Federal tires listed above. I'm on a college student budget lol.

Yeah, was bummed to find that out after searching for OEM sized on tirerack. Contis Extreme Contacts are my favorites; had them on my pre-FiST 1-series. DWS are a fantastic all-season, too.
