I am planning on traveling from Minnesota to Washington state and back in the fall before snow flies. I am starting to map out a route which heads due west through the upper mid and western states and then come back down to the northern rim of the Grand Canyon and back to Minnesota. If you know of any must drive roads in these areas let me know. I’m making a photo journal of this as well. [popcorn][driving]

long ago I used to use a site called pashnit.com that had some great roads as well as information about them; primarily for bikes, you can still have fun so long as you don't hold up all the bike traffic. A lot of the roads are popular for the *lack* of cars.

Not much to be had for twisty bits in ND but the loop through Teddy Roosevelt NP is totally worth it. Its a slow road and there are park rangers out there so 6/10 is about all you will get out of it before feeling like an asshole. The scenery is amazing though. Right off 94 and you can do the loop in a couple hours.

I’ll take that into consideration, thanks.

So my destination will be Pikes Peak and out to Puget Sound before I turn towards the Utah side of the Grand Canyon.

So looking at the schedule for the trip in early October, I’m facing somewhat of a dilemma. Going to Pikes Peak and then some other mountain ranges in Montana and Washington I may encounter some weather and/or roads that may be better suited for all seasons instead of the ZIII’s. I’m a little stumped on what to run.

I really hate to give up the ultra grip of the ZIII’s but I may pop on some AS/3+’s on the 17x8 Grids so I can handle any weather surprises. I have a set on 17x7.5 Titans but the section width is 8.4 so I am not worried

Yeap....Probably one of the most Scenic National parks I've ever been too. Its so scenic that I have a computer Screen saver on my computer at work and the people ask where I found the photo....I reply I took it at Logans pass in Glacier National Park! They all say ...No way! Then I show them my Phone album!
