Hey guys
Had my st dynod the other day
Figures are 248bhp and 288 ft lbs
Thats 224whp
Apparently the main thing you are able to feel is torque and an s280 upgrade won't add a lot more torque only bhp
Would the upgrade be worthwhile
Not looking at silly numbers more 300bhp

I mean what’s your current mod list? If you’ve broken 230 bhp, that indicates you’ve already swapped the turbo.

Additionally, how did you get the bhp and whp figures? Did you you put the car on rollers or did you have the engine out on an engine dyno?

It depends on the Octane rating of your gas. I know they use a different rating method over there I believe your 98 is equal to our 93. I have a S280 on my car and I am making 284HP on 91 octane pump gas..

No running 248bhp on the standard turbo my friend
But yeh running 99 octane
This was dynod on a roller

I bet you are overspinning that stock turbo with an upgraded actuator. You probably should toss an S280 on there.Do you guys get e85 over there. S280 with Aux fuel and e30 tune will push upwards of 342 ft lbs TQ and 350HP lol.

That or upgraded HPFL and injectors.

Not sure buddy went to one of the most highly rep tuners and they said its nothing to worry about
We don't have e85 buddy no only 99
98 equates to your highest pump fuel
Tuners do say to keep torque below 290 for reliability though
