St3 focus alternator compatible?

Hey guys so I'm planning a big 3 upgrade but want to also swap the alternator. Im wondering if the focus alt is compatible with the fiesta because they came with a 160a alternator and I can bridge the stator to get 320a. Has anyone tried this?
